German Folk songs (a.k.a. Hans Dampf in allen Possen) for Brass Trio
This piece comprises variations on the following traditional German and Alsacian folk songs all involving characters called Hans.
"Hans Spielmann stimme deine Fiedel"
"Hansel und Gretel"
"D'r Hans im Schnockeloch"
"Hans Spielmann der hat eine einzige Kuh"
"Hans Naber ik heb et ju togebracht"
The phrase "Hans Dampf in allen Strassen" is usually translated as "Jack of all trades". My version is up to various musical tricks so I have called it
Hans Dampf in allen Possen (Jack of all tricks)
