This instrumental piece (new title suggested by my father) is based on my Christmas choral piece Alleyways (also available on this site).
It is a jaunty melody with countermelodies and tells of children playing their games in the dusty streets (ie of Bethlehem) unaware that a miracle has happened, asking them to look up to the angels and join their singing.
